Microsoft has announced the launch of the Azure OpenAI service, a comprehensive suite of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions designed to meet the needs of Windows and Azure customers, as well as those of public sector organizations. The new suite of services allows customers to have access to open source AI libraries, ongoing Azure updates, and specialized development services, as well as an integrated Azure and hybrid AI platform.
The new service features a mix of easy-to-configure AI development packages, including Microsoft Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning, and the Microsoft Bot Framework. At the same time, customers can now access the OpenAI platform, which provides a library of pre-trained AI models, which are open source, modular, easy-to-integrate, and ready to deploy.
Azure OpenAI services also include a variety of specialized tools tailored towards public sector organizations and AI customers. For example, policies can now be enforced at scale to ensure compliance with data privacy and protection regulations. Additionally, OpenAI offers scientific and engineering support to help customers create custom AI solutions according to their needs.
With the launch of Azure OpenAI, Microsoft has made significant steps towards becoming a leader in the AI space. The new suite of services will help organizations, especially in the public sector, create and deploy AI solutions quickly and efficiently. By making AI easier to understand and use, Microsoft has paved the way for further AI adoption across the public space.
