Today, Anthropic announced it has raised $450 million in Series C funding that was led by Google and Salesforce Ventures, along with other notable investors.
Anthropic is an intelligent algorithm company that is focused on delivering large-scale, automated, and personalized experiences with AI technology. The company has already seen rapid growth since its founding in 2017.
This latest funding round further solidifies Anthropic’s leadership position in the AI space. Funds from the round will be used to scale the company’s intelligent technology, hire new talent, and expand to new markets.

The Series C funding round was led by Google Ventures, with additional participation from Salesforce Ventures, M12 (Microsoft’s venture arm), GSVlabs, Alumni Ventures Group, and the Belgian Investment Company for Developing Countries.
