Oracle’s CEO Larry Ellison has announced a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) service offering during a recent quarterly earnings call. The new cloud service, called Cohere, is specifically designed to help customers simpify data management by uncovering the hidden patterns within their programs.
Larry Ellison, who has brought Oracle on the cutting edge of the cloud computing industry, revealed that Cohere is a “no-code service”. It is meant to simplify the process of managing data, and will be available on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure marketplace.
What makes Cohere unique is the fact that it can identify trends and patterns within data that would otherwise remain hidden. It can then take those patterns and determine the best paths to improvement. Ellison believes this tool will encourage companies to take greater advantage of their data and in doing so, increase the efficiency of their operations.
Ellison also noted that Cohere combines AI with data engineering to make the process simpler and faster. In addition, Oracle’s new service is said to be highly automated, allowing customers to plug in data from any source and have it run in minutes.
Overall, Cohere’s efficient approach to data management and innovative artificial intelligence capabilities are expected to have a major impact on the cloud computing market. These capabilities will no doubt prove useful to Oracle customers in a wide range of industries. Ellison believes that Cohere will make it simpler for companies to take advantage of the power of the cloud, and thus increase their ROI from data-driven operations.
